Conformity of Goods
Gilda & Pearl takes every care to ensure that descriptions and specifications of products within the website are correct. Whilst colour representation is a close representation, we cannot accept responsibility for colour variation caused by computers and/or browsers. In addition, all items are handmade and small variations and imperfections are by nature apparent in such goods. Due to the fact that all items are unique and handmade in small quantities, we also reserve the right to vary some materials, such as our narrow lace trims, slightly from time to time.

Goods in Transit
Gilda & Pearl shall not be held responsible for goods returned to us, by you, which go missing in transit with a third party, Royal Mail, and shall not be liable for refunds on that basis. Please refer to our returns policy for guidelines on postage methods which ensure compensation from Royal Mail, in the unlikely event that goods become lost in transit.
The following up of a claim for compensation with Royal Mail shall be borne by you and is not the reponsibility of Gilda & Pearl.

Free second knicker terms and conditions: when this promotion is offered by Gilda & Pearl, it shall apply to full-priced items only, and shall apply only when a bra and knicker set is purchased together. Gilda & Pearl will offer a second knicker matching that which has been purchased in colour, size and style. Should you wish to return any items, the free second knicker must also be returned to us in order to process any refund.
To the fullest extent permitted by the law, Gilda & Pearl shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by negligence on the part of Gilda & Pearl, its directors, employees, agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website. Items which are not ordered from the Gift Shop will require seven working days prior to dispatch, as they will be individually made to order.

Because all Gilda & Pearl pieces are made to order, please allow up to seven days for your lingerie to be made and dispatched. In most cases, our lingerie is sent to you much sooner than this – so if you need it to arrive quickly, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your delivery date request.
Complimentary Gift Wrapping
All orders arrive in our signature gift boxes or pillow packs.
Occasionally customs charges may be due on international orders, and these will be raised once the order reaches your country’s border. Please note that we cannot be liable for payment of any international customs duties, and that these are borne by the customer. However, we do deduct UK taxes from your order at checkout.
We always aim to provide you with lingerie you'll be thrilled with, and generally Gilda & Pearl girls are delighted customers. However, we understand that sometimes you just have to return something. If you do, it's no problem- our returns policy is below.
Commissions and Bespoke Items
Please note that we are unable to refund commissioned items or those which are custom made or bespoke, unless faulty. Items which are bespoke are clearly marked prior to your purchase.
All Other Items From Our Collections
We will offer an exchange or refund if goods are returned to us in their original condition within 7 days of receipt.
Please take advantage of the fact that we handmake all items individually, as we can easily make changes to most of our garments for you. You can also contact us before placing your order if you are unsure of your size or anything else- we're always delighted to help.
Should you choose to return an item:
Simply return the unworn item (s) within 7 days of receipt of goods, including all packaging and in original condition.
If you would like an exchange, please advise us by email or on your packing slip of the goods you would like to exchange your lingerie for.
You don't need to give us a reason why you are returning your lingerie, but we always appreciate hearing your thoughts.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund where the above conditions have not been met, so please take care when unpacking & repacking. Please note that failure to return an item within 7 days from receipt or in accordance with current return conditions will prevent us from processing any refunds or exchanges. The 7 days begins from the date when the carrier first attempts to make the delivery to your address.
We will email you to confirm arrival of goods and will then endeavour to process your request for either a replacement or refund as quickly as we can. If fabric for your chosen substitute is not in stock we will contact you to offer either an alternative or a refund.

We will pay for the order to be sent to you, however the cost of returning an item is borne by you. When returning an item, you are responsible for goods until they reach us. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost by Royal Mail in transit. Therefore we recommend the following:
We recommend that you make sure the goods are insured for their full value and are sent via registered post. Please retain proof of posting. Gilda & Pearl cannot issue refunds or compensation when items returned to us by you have gone missing in the post.
European and International Customers:
Please send your return via a traceable method that insures you for the full value of your goods, declaring the package as ‘returned goods’ and including the original proof of purchase to avoid customs and import charges.
